1. How challenging was this project for you? Be specific. This project was pretty challenging but also fun, I got to decorate and make a ofrenda for a relative and it was probably one of the more fun project we have done although it was pretty challenging to learn all these thing about my grandpa. A part I had trouble on was his personal item was. I asked my parents and I ended up using a guitar as his personal item considering he would spend a lot of time on the guitar and him and my grandma would play classical music with a piano and a guitar on their free time.
2. What did you enjoy most about this Cultural Connections project?
I enjoyed making the ofrenda decorations and organizing the ofrenda to make it look neat. I also enjoyed the creativity acspect of the project where would had a choice of how we wanted to decorate our ofrenda with a few requirments.
3. Did you receive critique and feedback from anyone (teacher, parent, classmate, etc)? If so, who? Was the feedback helpful? (This could be for any part of the project, illustrated journal, ofrenda, exhibition)
I received critique from multiple people, my friends, parents and teachers gave me a little bit of feedback and helped me make the ofrenda as good as I could. I added such things from their feedback like I cleaned up around the ofrenda. They also recommend I add more decorations so I added candle holders.
6. What grade do you think you deserve? Why?
I think I deserve an A on this project, considering I met all of the requirements and tried to decorate and perfect the ofrenda as much as I could during the time we were given.
5. If you could change something about this project, what would it be?
If I could change one thing about this project I'd say more time on the project because I noticed a lot of peoples ofrendas looked rushed and also I could of used more time on my ofrenda and maby thought of more ideas for my ofrenda to add in that time.
