What were your thoughts when we first launched the project? What were your initial ideas? What did you feel about the project at the very beginning? What things did you know and what things were you confused about?
I though it was going to be a challenging project and most people where not going finish the project in time, although when we got going on the project it got more manageable overtime. I was very curious about how we were going to get the mobile done because they explained that it was going to be very complicated, but in reality it was pretty easy and we got it done in an hour.
What did you learn throughout the project in regards to Physics? What were your feelings about what you were learning? Were there moments of frustration? What were they? Why? How did you get over them?
I learned about torque and How to create and balance mobiles. At first the torque sketch was really frustrating me I didn't think I was going to be able to do it and set it aside to do later. Although I soon realized I cant just not do something because I don't want to, so I got help from my group and got it done in a few hours.
What did you learn throughout this project in regards to Spanish? What were your feelings about what you were learning? Were there moments of frustration? What were they? Why? How did you get over them?
In Spanish I learned how to write and pronounce Spanish translations. I though Spanish was pretty easy all you really need to do is pay attention and it like learning how to speak English all over again. There were not really any moments of frustration because most of the time In Spanish class I payed attention.
What did you learn throughout this project in regards to Humanities? What were your feelings about what you were learning? Were there moments of frustration? What were they? Why? How did you get over them?
In humanities I learned how to make a more professional looking artist statement and a better more descriptive writing. I felt really good on the story I wrote but when I found out I had to read it out to the class I knew there were some changes that had to be made. Something that was frustrating in trying to write a good story without any errors because I had to go through it and replace a lot of words, add more detail to each sentence but it turned out great and exactly how I wanted it.
How well did you collaborate with your group members? Were you a good collaborator? How did you know this?
I think I did a good job collaboration and my group did as well. We kinda split up more and did different parts like Sophia did most of artist statement, Andrew did most of the Illustrator and I built the mobile, although I didn't carve the symbols. I think I did a good fair part. I know this because I didn't really do a main part of the project I mainly helped everyone out with tiny parts and then the main big thing I did was build the mobile.
Tell us about your exhibition experience! How did you get there? Was it hard to find? What was presenting like? Were you scared? Who did you talk to that you felt engaged with you the most? Was there anyone you talked to that it was frustrating to talk to this person? Why? Do you think you were a good speaker? Why or why not?
The exhibition was great a little stressful since I didn't have food in my stomach, but ones I did I got out more and talked to people more. The exhibition was not that hard to find all we had to do was look at the map and we found it the first try, but it would of been better if we had a high tech high banner to be displayed on our tent, I just looked for the mobiles to find it. Presenting was pretty fun but some of the people were very impatient but besides that it was good. I was pretty scared and didn't feel engaged until towards the end. I think I talked decently I am not that good at public speaking though because I am a
shy person.
What letter grade would you give yourself for this project? Why? What are your closing thoughts about the project?
For this project I think I earned my self a B- because I worked hard to help me team to help out as much as I could but I didn't do any of the main parts and my partners did before I got the chance. I wish I had done more to help although I did do a lot I wish I could help more and maybe just have done all the work for the mobile but I dont think my group members wanted me to mess up so they had themselves do it.. I think we chose a great and important word to talk about and this word should really be appreciated more because it really does help us succeed in life.
