Quadratic Postcard Reflection
- Give an overview of the entire quadratics project (how we started, what we covered, ...)
- Explain the Quadratics Postcard activity (focus on its purpose)
Provide a reflection of your effort on the project (what went well, want didn't go so well, what would you do differently if you could do it over, ...) This project went pretty smooth for me and I didn't run into any major problems. Although the one struggle I had was the math. I was thinking about the math and was doing it wrong. I eventually watched a few videos on YouTube and learned I was doing it wrong, so I started all over and attempted to do it accurately. I put a lot of effort into making to postcard look nice and making sure anyone who saw it could understand the purpose and learn about how I found the parabola of this building. Something that went well was the formatting of the Summary, Reflection, and the math. The reason being is that when I finished each section I put it all together and didn't have any difficulty making it look neat after that it all just fit together like puzzle pieces. Something I was do differently was the graph. It was hard to make the graph visible and when I printed the copy of the postcard with the graph, the graph diagram was slighty choppy and hard to read. So I eventually created a bigger copy of the graph on the back of my postcard in case anyone couldn't read the smaller version on the front. |
