If you could create a sequel what would it be?
Provide a brief update on the end of the book. She of course won the show. The book ends with Jane getting offered a job as a co-producer but she was not so sure about what she should do. She says she would think about it. The story ends with a monologue of Jane talking about what she has been though and past experiences and ends up going through different flash backs. Then having a conversation with DFS and the books end on some advice she received and something about herself. Now that you have finished the book, think about how the story might continue. I think she is going to end up taking the co-producer job than later moving on to her profession of physiology that she has been studying throughout her community college. She may still talk to the friends she made throughout the school maybe get back together with Robbie. She may move back in with her parents there are many possibilities. If you had to write a sequel, what would happen? I would create a sequel about her becoming a co-producer and them remaking the reality TV show but instead Jane is behind the camera and behind the control of the show. There would be new characters and new relationships and instead of focusing on Jane this time it would focus on some other main protagonist. They can make a bigger reward or even change the reality show house or maybe even make a different show concept like jeopardy. Would the main character stay the same? Why? What would the main conflict be in this sequel? The main character would probably stay the same but a little more mature considering this is based when she becomes older and continues with her producing job. The only difference is the show is not only based on her but someone else that is a participant throughout the show. The conflict could possibility be a problem with the show maybe a drama or a threat from one of the participants or someone that seeks revenge from the time she was a participant. Also, would you recommend the book you read to a friend? Why or why not? It really depends on what your into if you like drama and media arts than I think you would enjoy this book. I'm not a big fan of drama so It was kinda annoying at parts but for people who enjoy drama it would be a great book for you to read. It is a good book and if you don't care than you should definitely read it. Im going to comment on Mariah P. and Rachna Blog posts.

Put yourself in the book Provide a brief update on the plot of the book so far. If you were in the book, which characters would you be friends with? Describe how you would interact in this story/world in detail. Who would you get along with? Who would you struggle to get along with? Why? Provide a brief update on the plot of the book so far. So far in the story a few more poeple have got eliminated from the house of orange and a lot of drama has begune to boil up thoughout the house and the community college in general. If you were in the book, which characters would you be friends with? If I had to choose any of the characters in the story so far to be friends with I would honestly be friends with the main character considering their humorous personality and like to poke fun at things and put alittle entertainment into things that may be boring or normal. Describe how you would interact in this story/world in detail If I was in this story / world I wouldnt really want to join a student made reality show. I would be more intrested in the post production side of how everything was being made. The "world" of the show is the same thing as the world we live on today there is no fantasy element to it so not much is to be said on the different things you can do in the world. Who would you get along with? Who would you struggle to get along with? Why? All the characters living in the house have very different personalities although I dont think I would get along with a lot of them except the main character and also Robbie (Jane's Friend) which is the sorta quite person of the house although he seems like the type of person that is up for anything. I dont think I would get along with most of the people in the house considering most of them are all about drama and stuff like that. I commented on Maxin M. and Rickie S. Week 2: Character Relationships Provide a brief update on the plot of the book so far. The web reality series has started off and is called House of Orange. The characters in the house are getting use to eachother and everyone is getting use to eachother. Relationship's are starting to develop over time, and Jane is doing decent in college besides the conflict between a school counsoler. Describe the relationships between different characters (at least 3). The main relationships that are developing at the time are with jane and someone else. The three characters that are many devolping relationships are Marc, Robbie, and Mr.Dubs. Marc seems to be Janes test dummy when it comes to pushing the limits on the show, and likes to annoy Marc in a lot of ways. Such as one time she threw a rock at his window to wake him up, then once he walked down stairs annoyed, she would ring the doorbell three times and run away. However Marc does not know that Jane is messing with her. The next relationship is Robbie and Robbie seems to be devolping as Jane's friend or maby something more. Mr.Dubs is Jane's school counsolar and Jane seems to be annoyed towards Mr.Dubs about the way he interacts or appears to her but somewhat likes him as a friend in a way. Do these characters have good relationships? What advice might you give to the main character regarding these relationships? I think these characters relationships are still developing but eventually are going to be intresting to see what more comes in the future. If I had to give the main character some advice I would say see how far you can take things with Marc and also keep being friends with Robbie. What (if any) impact does the relationships between characters have on the plot/events of the story? Characters such as Robbie could impact the plot/events of the story possibly becoming a love interest or just a best-friend kind of character where Mr.Dubs can start becoming more of a father or parent figure to Jane. Predicting Provide a brief summary of the book so far. What do you know about your book after reading part one? What do you think will happen to the main character in the next section of your book? What else can you predict about this book, plot, and conflict? Do you like the book so far? Provide a brief summary of the book so far. What do you know about your book after reading part one? The book I am reading is called "nice try jane sinner" is about a highschool drop out that attends a community college to try and reinvent her career path and ends up finding a flyer for a reality show called house of orange where a few people participate in a college campus house. Its a reality tv except you get to learn about the production and post production behind the show which is why I picked up this book. What do you think will happen to the main character in the next section of your book? What else can you predict about this book, plot, and conflict? Do you like the book so far? I think that the main character will eventually get into the reality series but then regret their desicion and try to get out of it or stick though it and attempt to win it but eventually get eliminated. I hope what will happen is she ends up using the reality show to screw with the other participates because jane's personality is the kind that likes to mess with people for her own amusment. I think there is going to be a lot of conflict between Jane's parents and her point of view on what shes wants to do. I commented on Maxin M. and Rickie S. |
